We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in direct sales and distributor management, with a focus on driving revenue growth and market share in the designated countries. Reporting to the Vice President of International Sales, the Sales Director will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to achieve sales goals, establish market penetration, and enhance our presence in the region.

As a leader, the Sales Director will demonstrate effective communication, empowerment, team motivation, and inspiration to foster a high-performing sales team. This individual will be responsible for cultivating a collaborative and innovative environment, ensuring the team is aligned with organizational goals and motivated to achieve exceptional results.

Jouw Profiel

  • Willingness to travel, up to 75% (more realistically 30-40% once the initial onboarding has been done).
  • Qualification requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including: Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, Leadership Competencies
  • Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The successful candidate should be a motivated and independent thinker capable of providing analysis and feedback as needed.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Supervisory responsibilities: Directly and indirectly supervise a team of up to 20 employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
